Why do so many followers of Jesus still live as though everything depends on them?
The Bible makes some remarkable claims about those who belong to Christ. We are forgiven, accepted, adopted, and united with Him. More than that, Christ Himself lives within us. Yet many believers still find themselves carrying burdens alone, wrestling with fear, striving for approval, and facing life’s challenges as though they are the only one in the room. There can be a surprising gap between what we know is true and how we actually live.
This message continues our series, Christ in You – The Hope of Glory, by exploring how the reality of Christ’s presence moves from theology into everyday experience. Along the way, we’ll look at why God’s people have often struggled more with sight than supply, why faith is about more than agreement, and how ordinary moments become opportunities to live from what is already true. The goal is not to gain something new from God, but to recognize and trust what He has already given through our union with Christ.
