Let Us Pray – Praying in 5D – Part I

Through the marvels of creation, the incarnation of Jesus, and the dynamic movement of the Holy Spirit, we as Christ-followers are already witness to the multidimensional aspects of God, revealing His grandeur and limitless nature. And just as multiple dimensions enhance our comprehension of the universe in the realms of physics and mathematics, prayer can serve as a transformative tool, illuminating and enhancing the diverse layers of our relationship with God. Join us this week as Pastor Chris continues our “Let Us Pray” series and dives deeper into the multiple dimensions of prayer.

DISCUSSION QUESTIONS:

  1. How does the concept of God being a multidimensional God resonate with you? Do you find it challenging to comprehend or accept? Why or why not?
  2. In what ways do you see evidence of God’s multidimensionality in His creation? Can you think of examples from nature or the universe that demonstrate His power and creativity?
  3. Reflecting on the idea of looking backwards to the cross, why is it important to start our prayers with gratitude for what Jesus has done for us? How does this perspective shape our relationship with God?
  4. How does calling God “Father” change your perception of Him and your approach to prayer? What does it mean to have a personal and intimate relationship with Him as our Heavenly Father?
  5. The message emphasizes the importance of passionate prayers and crying out to God. How comfortable are you with expressing emotions in your prayers? Are there any barriers or hesitations you experience in fully opening up to God?
  6. Discuss the role of the Holy Spirit in our prayer life. How does the Spirit help us when we don’t know how to pray or express ourselves? Have you experienced moments when the Holy Spirit interceded for you in prayer?
  7. What are some practical ways you can incorporate the dimensions of looking back to the cross and looking upward to God as your Father in your daily prayer life? How might these dimensions deepen your connection with God and enhance your prayer experience?
  8. Share a personal experience when you felt God’s presence in a multidimensional way, beyond what you could see or understand. How did it impact your faith and perspective on prayer?
  9. Take a moment to reflect on the statement, “Because God is multidimensional, you’re never alone.” How does this truth bring comfort and assurance to your life? How can it change the way you approach challenges, trials, and uncertainties?
